Mark first started Simply Grazin’ in Hopewell, New Jersey in 1997. At first, he was raising chickens and gifting them to family and friends. He did not intend to start a business. However, over 20 years later, his family business has expanded to include grass-fed beef and pasture-raised pork sold through many retailers, high end butcher shops and restaurants. Mark cares deeply about animal welfare, land conservation, and supporting agricultural infrastructure. He is very involved in all aspects of his farming operations, and works closely with wholesale clients to build custom programs.
