Our NY Farm hand, Thomas, spends time bottle feeding some of our calves. 

These young calves are not yet mature ruminants, so they need a milk-based diet, but their mother isn’t producing properly. A calf needs to consume approximately 8 percent of its birth weight in milk or milk replacer each day. We offer bottles twice daily in two equal feedings.
