Giving to employees during uncertain times

Frozen meats for employees

As the Coronavirus pandemic continues to plague the world, most people’s lives have been turned upside down. Grocery stores have been ransacked and schools have been shut down. Many are now working from home, but many more have been forced out of work as businesses and jobs have been deemed non-essential and forced to shut down. Unemployment filings are at an all time high and no one knows just when this will end.

Mr. Rogers once said, “When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mom would say to me ‘Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.’” And while the major news stations share stories about what some larger companies are doing to help support their workers during this uncertain time we thought you should know it’s not just the big companies who are doing what they can to support their workers.

This week, Simply Grazin’ founder, Mark Faille, helped fill the freezers of all of his employees by giving each employee 2 packs ground beef, 1 pork roast, 1 pack stew meat, and some rolled pork. Mark wanted to try to ease the uncertainty of the times by taking care of all those who help him take care of the animals on the Simply Grazin’ farms.
